This years Enterprise Week is to focus on young entrepreneurs and the future of enterprise in the UK.
The annual event will run from November 12th to the 18th and will be coordinated by the Make Your Mark campaign.
This is a national scheme intended to inspire and encourage young people to move forward with their business start-up ideas and to develop the national culture of enterprise.
The campaign, founded by business organisations including the British Chamber of Commerce, has the backing of the department of Trade and Industry and the chancellor Gordon Brown.
As reported by Startups.co.uk, Stephen Alambritis, chair of the Make Your Mark campaign, said: "Already over a third of young people feel they have the personal qualities needed to develop a business idea.
"During Enterprise Week we want to inspire even more people in their teens and twenties to have ideas and make them happen, whether they are starting their own business or social venture or by making their mark at work."
A recent survey indicated that around half of all UK adults have aspirations to start their own business.
The research, commissioned by the Entrepreneurs Organisation, found that young adults are particularly keen to become be involved in company formation. Some 60 per cent of 25 to 34-year olds questioned had considered this course of action.
